Wisconsin is experiencing one of those ice storms you  might have heard about. We are currently in the “partially ice covered” and slippery area down in out southeastern corner but we sent our people home before we were 100% covered and definitely before we get to travel not advised. We do have a couple of people scrambling to take calls from home (thank you Cheryl and Brenda), and Tim should be available remotely a little later today. There will be no shipments out today, and possibly into tomorrow. We are doing our best to stay operational but there may be power outages from the ice. Check back here or on our FB page for updates. If you are in an area impacted by this winter storm please stay safe!

Weather closure

Winter weather has made our roads a mess and the worst is yet to come this afternoon. We aren’t going to tell you which one of us was in the ditch this morning before the snow really started to fall, but we will tell you that instead of turning around and going home after she got pulled out she continued on to work and was only nine minutes late!

We have a dedicated team here who will only go home if we make them, we are very sorry for the inconvenience but out of concern for the safety of our staff we will be closing at noon today, Thursday February 16th. You may still fax or email orders and they will be processed as soon as possible!

Lubricants back in stock!

We are happy to introduce J. Meinlschmidt lubricants to our customers. We now carry their complete line; for your convenience (and ours), you only need to add -JM to our part numbers you already know when ordering.

Check them out here!

We know that having high-quality lubricants is essential in your repair shop. We have always been proud to offer the finest line of synthetic lubricants in our industry, but after many years of diminishing availability and the last two years of almost no availability, we have made the difficult choice to source and carry an additional line of synthetic lubricants. We fully expect these products are comparable quality and will serve you well. Boss directed us to hold the price down – he’s absorbing the shipping and tariffs – for a limited time to give you a chance to try them out but we won’t do that forever.

We have no intention of ending our relationship with our previous supplier, their shelf space will be waiting for them, and we will continue to sell both lines for as long as we can  get it in our doors. One last thing, no hoarding, we will have quantity limits in place until we can get everyone stocked back up and we can get back to normal demand.

Refresh your page for most up-to-date price list

We have had a couple of folks call concerned that the prices on their invoice don’t match the price list online. If you do not REFRESH your page you may see an old version. You may also need to clear your cache or browser memory. Some folks swear by alternating browsers too. We update the price list a minimum of monthly, sometimes weekly so if you see a date on the front cover more than a month old you are getting old prices. Refresh can be as easy as clicking on that little circular right arrow!

As always, all prices are subject to change, and while we are sorry for the inconvenience current pricing is always in effect. If you are hard quoting a repair you should get a quote in writing to hold the prices.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Slime Away

After months of no availability we just confirmed that our supplier has worked through their supply chain issues and will be shipping Slime Away to us in a “couple of weeks” … however, we were warned to expect a very large price increase due to a huge spike in pricing on a single component. Our supplier spent months, and tried everything to mitigate the price increase but couldn’t without impacting the quality of the product. We have also seen availability issues, and large price increases on the containers we package the product in for resale.

As cleaning and refurb season begins prepare for your price to nearly double on Slime Away in all sizes and please price your cleanings accordingly to pass this along to your customers. We have updated the price list on all sizes; A876, A877 and A886. Availability is as yet to be determined depending upon how we break down the product into the various sizes. If you have these products on backorder we will be calling to see if you want to keep it backordered at the new price or if you would like to cancel. We hope cost goes down in the future, and we will adjust pricing downward at that time.

Pad price increase 2021

Pad prices are going up again and we received a note that another supplier will be instituting a surcharge effective 9/1, whether they call them a price increase or surcharges the net effect is the same, they will cost everyone more money. We expect the volatility in raw material and logistical struggles will continue for at least the next six to nine months. If you have price sensitive projects we urge you to order as soon as possible while we still have product at the lower prices. We are doing our best to keep everything in stock but it is difficult to gauge demand. We try to keep our online price book updated weekly, but as always, prices are subject to change anytime.

Price list 2021

As a follow up to our previous post regarding raw material shortages and price volatility we have decided that we will NOT be printing a full price list for mailing in 2021. We are sorry for the inconvenience but it seems foolish to spend so much money on a pile of paper that will be out of date before it even gets printed. If you are currently a customer and reading this message the solution is simple, contact us for online access to both the catalog, and price list. We update the price book as often as possible but it seems like prices change every time we receive inventory, so remember – if you are bidding a repair job it is best to get a written price quote that will lock in your prices for 30 days! Phone in price checks do NOT hold your pricing.
